Overview And Experience
Attorney Elizabeth Howerin is a native to Virginia Beach, where she graduated from First Colonial High School. She then went on to graduate from Longwood University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in German Language. After college, Elizabeth attended Regent University School of Law, where she excelled in many of her classes, but specifically in the areas of legal writing and trial advocacy.
Elizabeth earned the highest grade and Book Awards in Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing II, Trial Practice, and Advanced Trial Practice. At graduation, Elizabeth earned yet another award – the Virginia Trial Advocacy Award from the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Most recently, in 2020, Elizabeth was voted by her peers to be in Legal Elite’s Top Young Lawyers Under 40.
With her background in legal writing and trial advocacy, Elizabeth compassionately represents clients and is empathetic towards their needs. She focuses her practice on family law, personal injury, and general civil litigation. Elizabeth’s detail-oriented nature and trial experience ensures that clients are well represented in the courtroom. When she is not in the courtroom, Elizabeth enjoys being outdoors, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband and children.
