Overview And Experience
Adrienne V. Goodman is a Virginia attorney who focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, bringing both professional experience and personal perspective to her work with clients. Having grown up in a military family, Adrienne developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges and transitions that many families face, an insight that continues to inform her approach to client advocacy.
Originally born in Washington state, Adrienne moved frequently throughout her childhood before her family ultimately settled in Hampton Roads prior to her freshman year of high school. She graduated from Great Bridge High School and went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Virginia Wesleyan University, followed by her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law.
Before attending law school, Adrienne gained valuable legal experience working in the Norfolk Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office and as a paralegal in private practice. She entered law school with a clear focus on family law, driven by a desire to help individuals and families navigate the legal and emotional complexities surrounding divorce, child custody, and support matters.
Adrienne began her legal career in Virginia Beach, where she built a practice centered on family law and civil litigation. In 2016, she partnered with Charles L. Pincus, III to form Pincus Goodman, P.C., a firm dedicated to providing thoughtful, client-focused representation. Within the firm’s boutique structure, Adrienne is able to devote the time and attention necessary to guide clients through often difficult and sensitive legal matters.
Adrienne is known for her steady, compassionate approach and her commitment to helping clients reach practical and meaningful resolutions.
Adrienne and her husband, Mark, live in Virginia Beach and have two children, Chloe and Noah. Chloe is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and currently works in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Their son, Noah, will graduate from Cox High School in June 2026 and will attend James Madison University School of Music, where he plans to turn his love for musical performance into a career in music performance and education.
